The F. M. Kirby Foundation is proud to support Court Appointed Special Advocates of Morris and Sussex Counties (CASA), a nonprofit organization committed to advocating for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. By training and supervising dedicated volunteers, CASA ensures that these children have a consistent, caring adult to speak on their behalf throughout the court process and beyond.
CASA volunteers work closely with child welfare professionals, educators, medical providers, and the courts to make well-informed recommendations that help secure safe, permanent homes. Each volunteer is assigned to one child or sibling group, allowing for personalized attention and meaningful advocacy during what can be a difficult and uncertain time in a child’s life.
Through its work, CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties helps ensure that children in foster care are seen, heard, and supported. The organization plays a vital role in giving vulnerable youth a stronger voice and improving outcomes related to safety, stability, and well-being. The F. M. Kirby Foundation is honored to support CASA’s mission to protect and empower children through dedicated, individualized advocacy.
