The F. M. Kirby Foundation is proud to recognize its partnership with Grow It Green Morristown, a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to creating sustainable, equitable access to fresh food and environmental education. Since its founding, Grow It Green has played a key role in strengthening the local food system and encouraging community involvement through hands-on learning and urban agriculture.

Through its Urban Farm and Early Street Community Garden, Grow It Green provides fresh, locally grown produce to area residents, schools, and food pantries. These spaces not only serve as sources of healthy food, but also as outdoor classrooms where children and families can learn about agriculture, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.

The organization’s education programs reach thousands of students each year through partnerships with local schools and community groups. By integrating gardening and food literacy into the school curriculum and offering seasonal programming at the farm, Grow It Green helps young people develop a deeper understanding of where food comes from and how it impacts their health and the environment. Grow It Green also prioritizes accessibility by offering produce at reduced cost to those in need and by hosting community events that bring people together around shared values of sustainability and wellness. Its work contributes to a healthier, more informed, and more connected community.

The F. M. Kirby Foundation is grateful to support Grow It Green Morristown’s efforts to increase access to fresh food, provide environmental education, and foster community engagement through sustainable urban agriculture.
